The whole production takes place in the area of SPM – Security Paper Mill (Member of Security Ident Group) in Štětí, under strict security surveillance. Today, representatives of the Ministry of Transport, including Minister Dan Ťok, came to see the manufacturing process. The visit included also a meeting with journalists in a press conference.
Now new license plates include holograms visible at a certain angle as three-dimensional reliefs.
SPM is already working on so-called third license plate – a chip.
In the future, these chips should be placed on cars and bring benefits to police and cities as well to drivers themselves.
